Here’s some info about an exciting new loan program our team is offering.

Today I’m excited to talk about a new loan program that we can offer to our clients who would like to purchase a home before selling their current home. Sounds appealing, right?

It’s a program through a company called Knock. Because our team is full of Knock-certified agents, we have access to this program that allows homeowners to purchase the home they want first and sell their current property second.

One of the biggest problems in today’s market is there are just not enough homes available for sale. You might see a home you love, but your hands are tied until you’ve sold your current home. That home is likely going to go under contract very quickly, and now you’re even more hesitant to list your home for sale because you’ve lost out on it. It’s a catch-22.

The money you borrow is interest-free for the first six months.

This program allows you to purchase a home, close on it, move in, then go back and sell your home after getting it show-ready. This program allows you to access the equity of your current home, make a down payment on a new one, and have money to make payment on your old home for up to six months to avoid the dreaded double mortgage. The best part is that the money you borrow to purchase the new home is interest-free for the first six months.
