Experience matters in this real estate market. Almost 87% of Realtors have been in the business for five years or less, work part-time, or are brand-new. Many agents can sell properties in a hot market because they sell themselves. These same agents simply don’t know what to do in a normal or shifting market, and they can’t get you top dollar for your property.

We’re starting to see more homes sitting on the market longer and eventually expiring. Listing on the MLS simply isn’t enough anymore. In markets like this, people look for agents with more experience.
